Three weeks and counting!

The last couple of weeks have been pretty eventful. Now that we have finally settled down after Gustav and Ike passed, we have been productive on a number of fronts. The first is Little Eldredge's nursery. Last weekend George moved most of the boxes out and put together some of the items that we got at my baby shower. I now feel that if our son or daughter decides to make his/her entrance into the world now we would be ready. I even washed my first load of baby clothing and started placing them in the dresser/changing table. Talk about a weird feeling folding baby clothes. I even lost one tiny little sock. Grandma was not surprised when I told her this, but they are so tiny!
The second thing that happened was my baby shower that was hosted by Gretchen (aka Nanny) and Mrs. Dot. It took place at Isabella's Pizzeria. They really did a great job as hosts. It really was a special day with family and friends. At the shower we got our bedding set from Grandma and Grandpa, our travel system from Nana and Poppy, our swing from my Nanny, some cute LSU clothing, and many other items that I have a feeling will be used in the months to come.
I went back to the OB this past Tuesday. There really is no news on that front. I am not progressing at all he said, which is to be expected at this point. Regardless, I have started to walk up and down our street with the hopes that this will speed things along. I think the worst part about these last few weeks is the not knowing. The fact that my water could break, I could start having contractions, and go into labor at any moment is a strange feeling. Also, I have started making lists on what to bring to the hospital. I even have the bag for the labor and delivery pretty much put together.
Fun stuff all around!
