Daycare :(

Kimberly started daycare full time on January 5th. Needless to say Kimberly took the news better then I did. I was a basket case the first day she was there full time. I seriously had to stop myself from calling and checking on her every hour. Kimberly was a good sport and adjusted quite well to her new "school". I on the other hand, went to visit her two or three times the first week she was there. Not to mention I also called to see how she was doing. To prove that Kimberly likes it at Southside, on her third day there I walked into her classroom and I hear a baby laughing. Come to find out it was Kimberly laughing at the mobile hanging from the ceiling. Well, I pick her up and what does Kimberly do? She starts screaming! Talk about stabbing her Momma in the heart. All she wanted to to was keep on playing. Her teachers, Ms Regina and Ms. Vicki say they fight over who is going to feed her because Kimberly has started "talking". They both say she is going to be a very talkative little girl because she coos nonstop lately. She has definitely found her voice.
Also, it is very obvious that they play with her a lot. I say this because the first week Kimberly was going to day care all she wanted to do when she got home would be sleep. She was one exhausted little girl. However, the benefit off all this "play time" is that Kimberly is developing quite well. She is now holding her head up at a 90 degree angle and she has started rolling over from her stomach to her back! I have a feeling it will not be that much longer before she is rolling over from her back to stomach and/or crawling. Then George and I will be very busy parents!
The bottom line is: We both feel very secure with leaving Kimberly at her daycare.
