Second week at home

It is hard to believe that Kimberly has been home for two weeks already! Slowly George and I are adjusting to life as parents. We are getting a little better at functioning on little sleep, but still feel like there are not enough hours in the day to do things for ourselves.

Kimberly really is a good baby. She really only fusses if she is hungry or has a dirty/wet diaper. She is sleeping in about 2-3 hours chunks of time at night and is becoming more alert during the day. ...

One week at home

To say the past week has been a learning experience would be an understatement. I don't think either Angela or I could have ever been prepared for the levels of exhaustion (both physical and emotional) that we'd experience in those first few days. With the passage of time and the help from friends and family, we're making it through.

Kimberly is doing great - she's eating a lot these days, which I can only assume is good, and hopefully she'll be back to her birth weight on...
