Today marks my first day in the 3rd trimester (27 weeks today). Hard to believe that in about 13 short weeks George and I will be able to hold our son or daughter!
Little Eldredge is becoming more and more active, which is a comforting feeling. I love feeling him/her move around because it lets me know that everything is fine. This past weekend George and I flew up to Washington, DC for Maggie and Chris' wedding. As a result, Little Eldredge took his/her first plane ride. I have got to say that he/she really enjoyed it. Most of the time we were in the air the baby was kicking up a storm. In fact, George was able to see the baby kick from the outside for the first time on our way back home. When he saw it he said, "Wow".

Yesterday I went for my 4 week check up. The OB said that the baby is growing nicely; and my weight gain (only 15 pounds so far) and blood pressure are doing well. He also said I should have not problems with our upcoming trip to DC.
I was able to hear the heartbeat again and the nurse thinks that we are having a boy (gut feeling she said). However, she then said that the heart rate suggests a possible girl. The heart rate was a strong 172 beats per minute. We will find out...
