One Trimester Down, Two to Go

Well, believe it our not, today is my first day in the second trimester! I find it hard to believe that 12 weeks have come and gone already.

I was one of the lucky ones though, and did not suffer from morning, afternoon, or evening sickness! The only complaint I had during this time was fatigue. Some nights it was all I could do not to fall asleep at the dinner table. I kid you not; I was going to bed at around 7:30 each night.

12 Week Ultrasound

Yesterday George and I went in for our 12 week ultrasound. It was sooo exciting. We were able to see Little Eldredge moving his/her arms and legs around, the spine and rib cage, and the heart beating (167 bpm)! The tech said that Little Eldredge is developing well, which was a huge relief to both of us!

We found it amazing to see how much our baby has developed in just a couple short weeks!

Angela woke up to get ready for work on February 1 and wasn't feeling "normal", so she took a pregnancy test. As she had felt symptoms similar in the past, she was a bit surprised when the two faint lines showed up on the test.

Angela woke me up to tell me the news. The conversation went something like this:
